CAMPBELL’S NOODLE “SOUPER” ACTIVITY STATIONS

BET YOU DIDN’T REALIZE THE AWESOME FUN YOU CAN HAVE WITH A SIMPLE POOL NOODLE!!!  WELL CHECK OUT WHAT’S HAPPENING IN “CAMPBELL’S COURT” THIS WEEK. 

STUDENTS WILL BE USING NOODLES CUT INTO VARIOUS SIZES AND SHAPES FOR TONS OF GREAT ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

    • “ROCKET LAUNCH” – THEY MUST LAUNCH THEIR NOODLE IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET IT THROUGH THEIR HANGING HULA HOOP
    • “NOODLE HOCKEY”- THEY MUST MOVE ON A SCOOTER AND USE A NOODLE TO HIT A NOODLE PIECE INTO A GOAL
    • “NOODLE POP” – THEY MUST POP SMALL PIECES OF NOODLES BETWEEN THEIR FINGERS TRYING TO GET THEM TO LAND INSIDE OF A TUB
    • “LEANING TOWERS OF NOODLE” – THEY WILL SEE WHO CAN BUILD THE TALLEST TOWER USING NOODLE SEGMENTS

 **WATCH THEM WORK TOGETHER COOPERATIVELY USING THROWING AND STRIKING SKILLS !! Here is a video 

 

 

SOLS:

K.1/1.1 TSW DEMONSTRATE A MINIMUM OF TWO CRITICAL ELEMENTS USED IN MANIPULATIVE SKILLS WHILE STATIONARY AND WHILE MOVING.

K.4/1.5 TSW DEMONSTRATE ABILITY TO SHARE, AND BE COOPERATIVE AND SAFE WITH OTHERS.
